Changes to the Foundation Board

Sara and Ajie leave the Foundation board.

Today comes the news that two of our board members, Sara Nordin Hällgren and Ajie Sunkutu Nyassi have decided to leave the foundation board. Each has their own reasons which are described below.

Sara remains committed to improving the lives of Women and Girls in the Gambia but has been hired by a company which does not allow their employees from sitting as board members of a charity. For this reason, Sara will only be able to provide her support as a member of the charity.

Ajie has made the decision to leave the board following changes to her personal life, including moving away from Gothenburg and considering returning to the Gambia.

We are sorry to see both of these amazing people leave the board and thank them both immensely for their assistance over the past year.

Christopher Hyde will also be changing his role at the Foundation and will no longer function as the charity's CFO. Katarina will be taking over this responsibility. This decision was made by the board, as Christopher Hyde is moving to the UK and we strongly believe that a Swedish resident should manage the Foundation finances. We hope that you all support us in this change.
